Midfielder Danny Lloyd was named a first-team All-Conference soccer selection by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference for the 2011 season.

The senior finished as the Rams soccer leader with 10 goals and 24 points. Among GNAC scorers, Lloyd ranked fifth in goals and sixth in points for the year.

Lloyd wraps up a spectacular four-year career for the Rams with this fourth All-Conference selection.

Statistically he has been one of the top players in league history. Over a four-year span, Lloyd scored 36 goals for the Rams in 56 contests, tying former Ram Kevin Rogers (2003-06) for eighth all-time in league history. He scored 27 career goals in conference games, the most in GNAC history for a single player in league competition. His 87 career points is the eighth highest total ever, while his 64 points in GNAC games ranks third.

He also has consistently been one of the most active players on the field, registering a conference best 159 shots in league games and a total of 264 shots overall, which is the fourth highest total ever.

In 2008 Lloyd earned GNAC Rookie of the Year honors, while being named as a second team All-Conference selection. In 2009 he earned GNAC Player of the Years honors. Lloyd earned second team All-Conference honors during in 2010 as he helped guide the Rams to their first ever GNAC championship and NCAA Tournament Appearance.

The Rams finished the 2011 season with a 5-13-1 record. They qualified for the GNAC playoffs with a 4-5-1 league record before falling to St. Joseph's College, the eventual league champions, 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
