SU Pollster Credited with Asking Key Question of 2012 campaign

The Daily Kos blog was among media outlets delighted to see a pressing question brought to the voters running up to the 2012 presidential election.

Blogger Seneca Doane writes:

“Suffolk [University] … had the bright idea of asking Florida voters the question that is on everyone's minds -- generally admitted to by Republicans (a while ago) and now belatedly picked up to use as a club by Democrats.”

And the question posed to Florida voters by David Paleologos, director of Suffolk University’s Political Research Center was:

“Do you think the Republicans are intentionally stalling efforts to jumpstart the economy to ensure that Barack Obama is not re-elected?”

Forty-nine percent of Florida voters polled said they believe that the Republicans are intentionally hindering efforts to boost the economy so that President Barack Obama will not be reelected. Thirty-nine percent disagreed.
