Orientation Scholars Attend National Conference

 

Director of Orientation and New Student Programs Karen Phillips and five student orientation scholars attended the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA) regional conference in Ithaca, New York.

Orientation leader Justin Callahan received the “Best Overall” award in the undergraduate Case Study Competition which dealt with common orientation issues.

At a session program, Callahan, Russell Dukett, Rebecca Goldstein, Jessica Ridlen, and Kelsey Trenti presented “Innovative Ways to Utilize Returning Orientation Leaders.”

Phillips, who served on the conference committee, also participated in a program “Thinking About Graduate School?”
