Tenth Anniversary Memorial of 9/11
The Suffolk University community will come together to observe the tenth anniversary of 9/11 and to memorialize the victims of the terrorist attacks at 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 in Donahue 403.
“I hope that this anniversary memorial service will be a time for students and employees to remember their own experiences and to look ahead to the future as we all strive to live in a more peaceful world,” said The Rev. Amy L. Fisher, University chaplain and director of the Interfaith Center, who will lead the service.
Acting President and Provost Barry Brown will deliver the opening remarks. The service will include musical selections and poetry readings as well as personal recollections of 9/11 from students and employees.
