Law School Offers Web Broadcasts of Oral Arguments

The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, in partnership with Suffolk University Law School, provides live Internet broadcasts of oral arguments before the court. The next sessions to be broadcast will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday Sept. 7 and 8, and Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 13 and 14, 2010

The arguments may be viewed and heard online, where a schedule and brief case summaries also are available.

The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Suffolk University established a pilot program in 2005 to provide attorneys, students, media, and the general public with live Internet broadcasts of oral arguments before the Supreme Judicial Court.

The Law School will continue to broadcast the oral arguments before the court during the first full week of each month from September through May when the court is in session. The arguments are archived for easy access.
