Twelve students from Suffolk's Clinical Psychology PhD program participated in the February 2011 National Internship Day match process this year, one of the largest cohorts to come from a single doctoral program. Suffolk's match rate was 92 percent, well above the national average of 76 percent.

A total of 3,847 students from the U.S. and Canada competed for placement at 610 available sites. Suffolk students matched at some of the most competitive internship sites in the country including Mass General Hospital/Harvard Medical School; Columbia University Medical Center; Alpert Medical School of Brown University; and the University of Rochester Medical School.
