Connections 2007 Full-Time Job Fair

Graduating students seeking to generate face-to-face meetings with employers have been presented with a golden opportunity – a virtual guarantee of direct contact with recruiters at Suffolk’s Connections 2007 Full-Time Job Fair.

Connections 2007 will take place from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at the Regan Gymnasium, 148 Cambridge St.

All graduating College of Arts & Sciences and Sawyer Business School students are encouraged to meet the approximately 50 employers from the business, non-profit, and government sectors who are expected to attend.

Leading employers among the registrants include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Boston Plan for Excellence, Bright Horizons, Citibank, Eaton Vance, John Hancock, Mass Eye & Ear, Mellon Financial Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, South Bay Mental Health Center, State Street, U.S. General Services Administration, and U.S. Customs & Border Patrol.

Job fairs have one distinct advantage over other search methods -- you can easily meet and make your case directly to six to 10 employers in a couple of hours.

Career Services offers a 10-step plan to take advantage of the upcoming job fair.
