Theatre Students Take on New Roles

Jonathan Orsini stars in Gurnet Theatre Project’s parody of the Peanuts comic strip, Dog sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, May 17-26, 2007, at the Boston Center for the Arts Black Box.

Erin Schrutt will spend the next year with Missoula Children’s Theatre, bringing professionally guided theatrical experiences for children across the country.

Rachel Kelsey is spending the summer with the Cornerstone Theatre Company Institute Summer Residency in Holtville, Calif. The company will spend the summer adapting a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the residents of Holtville, a mining community.

Alison Perrone will be spending the summer at the Cape Playhouse as a production assistant. Richard Chambers will be designing and Jim Bernhardt will be consulting throughout the summer.

Catch Tony Passafiume in Improv Asylum’s summer show NXT, performing at 8 p.m.Wednesdays starting in July.

Nael Nacer made his debut with Whistler in the Dark’s production of The Flu Season, April 21-May 5, 2007 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts Black Box.
