Faculty Honored for Research

Ken Hung, assistant professor of information systems and operations management along with his coauthors, received the "Best Paper Award" during the 2007 Academy of Management Research Methods Division Meeting in Philadelphia. The authors were given a plaque and monetary award.

The paper, titled "Student-Manager Surrogacy Revisited: An Empirical Investigation," examined the research method of using student as surrogates for managers in business decision making studies.

Assistant Professor of Marketing, Zhen Zhu and her coauthors were honored with "Best Overall Conference Paper Award" at the 2007 American Marketing Association Summer Educators’ Conference. The title of the paper is "Fix It or Leave It: Customers' Expectation, Intention, and Reactions in Technology-based Self-Service Failure and Recovery."
