Conference Honors in Golf and Tennis
Rams athletes cited as players of the week for outstanding performance
Suffolk student-athletes continue to turn in award-winning performances throughout the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
Valentina Medina, a member of the women’s tennis team, was recently named GNAC Player of the Week, capturing the honor for the second time this season and in as many weeks. The talented junior posted a record of 7-1 during her latest week on the court, going undefeated in four singles matches. More
Demetrois Stamouli of the men’s golf team also was in rare form as he was named GNAC Co-Rookie of the Week for the first time. The freshman golfer recorded an 80 out of the number 5 spot to finish second overall and lead the Rams to victory at the Emmanuel Invitational. More
