UXBRIDGE, Mass.-- The Suffolk golf team finished ninth of 11 teams competing at the Nichols Bison Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the Blissful Meadows Golf Club, as the Rams posted a team score of 364 on the day. Bryant won the event with a team score of 305, with Springfield (313) and Nichols (314) following in the final standings.

Sophomore Jori Karstikko (Cobham, England), who finished 16th individually in last weekend’s ECAC Division III New England Championships, was the top performer once again for Suffolk by posting a round of 86 that was good for 35th individually, while freshman Kyle Wolf (Franklin, Mass.) was next for the Rams with a round of 96 that was good for 45th place.

Suffolk will compete at the 2007 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships that begin on Sunday and continue through Tuesday at The Captains Course in Brewster, Mass.
