Diamonds Sparkle for Rams Athletes

The spring sports season is just beginning, but Suffolk University student-athletes already are lighting up the baseball and softball diamonds.

For the second straight week, two members of the Rams softball team received Great Northeast Athletic Conference Corvias weekly accolades, as Taylor Holmes was named the conference’s top pitcher and Payton Sylvester was tabbed the conference’s best rookie over a seven-day stretch of spring break play in Florida. Charles Batchhelder of the Suffolk baseball squad was selected as the GNAC Pitcher of the Week. The junior right-hander pitched a complete game shutout versus Stockton in Florida to earn the first weekly honor of his Rams’ career. More
