Rams' Poloskey Nets Second Rookie of the Week Honor

First year student recognized by the New England Hockey Conference

Haley Poloskey of the Suffolk women's hockey team was named New England Hockey Conference Rookie of the Week after scoring a pair of goals in back-to-back league games.

The nod is Poloskey's second of the season and marks the seventh time a Rams player has received weekly recognition from the league.

When Suffolk started second semester league play, Poloskey – a first year forward from Mattawan, Michigan – potted the game-tying and eventual game-winning goal to help the Rams take down Castleton, 4-2.  She followed that with another two-goal effort to pave the way in a 4-2 win over Salem State and secure the four-point league weekend for the blue and gold.
