Student-Athletes Succeed Where It Counts

All-academic awards

Cross-country teams & runners cited for excellence on course and in classroom

The Suffolk men's and women’s cross country teams earned the 2018 All-Academic Award status from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), which also singled out three student-athletes for their accomplishments on the course and inside the classroom.

Women's cross-country and junior cocaptains Emily Manfra and Emma Weisse and men’s cross-country standout Matyas Csiki-Fejer, a first-year student, each earned the 2018 USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards.

For a team to be considered for the All-Academic Award, which has been presented annually since 1995-96, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum team GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.
