The Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University Dean’s Cabinet consists of a distinguished community of loyal benefactors who are dedicated to supporting and advancing our School’s mission through philanthropy and strategic consultation.

About the Dean’s Cabinet

Criteria

Selected members must pledge at least $50,000. Gift commitments can be completed through five annual contributions and must be fulfilled by the fifth year of service.

Responsibilities

Appointed by Dean Amy Zeng, Dean’s Cabinet members are asked to:

  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to the Dean in pursuit of the Dean’s overall programmatic and fundraising goals
  • Enhance the academic profile of the Sawyer Business School by assisting the Dean with strategic corporate and individual partnerships within the New England region, around the nation, and abroad
  • Identify, cultivate, and engage alumni to become involved with the Sawyer Business School, as well as identify possible nominees to serve in the Dean’s Cabinet
  • Serve as ambassadors of the Sawyer Business School to external stakeholders, such as alumni, corporate partners, and prospective students and their parents
