I credit Suffolk with where I am today. I graduated from Suffolk a semester early with a job offer at one of the best advertising agencies in the country. On Hill Holliday’s media team, I managed multi-million-dollar budgets for clients such as Chili's and Partners Healthcare. From there, I have moved on to HubSpot, considered to be among the top five places to work in the country.
While at Suffolk, I served as part of the Student Government Association and swam with manatees in Florida with the Journey Leadership Program. I did Habitat for Humanity in North Carolina with the most epic squad ever. Plus, I took part in the Honors Program and enjoyed great guidance from people like Kim Larkin, who allowed me not only to study abroad in Madrid while maintaining a strict course load, but also to graduate early to begin my career. In Catherine McCabe’s sports marketing class, I met Laurie Voke, who came in as a guest speaker. I ended up interning for her, and now serve with her—alongside vice presidents and directors from the Celtics and Revolution—on the board of directors for Women in Sports and Events.
I had an incredible experience at Suffolk and would not have gone anywhere else. The quality of the faculty, the class content, and the students I met who became my best friends all went into where I am today—which, at 23, I feel really good about. Suffolk is second to none and an incredible institution.
