It has been a long five years as a college student. Born and raised here in Boston, I first enrolled at a school in Virginia in 2012. I felt like I was missing something. I studied business management there for about a year and left after I became homesick. Then, I transferred to a college in Boston, believing that I would be much more comfortable in my hometown. This wasn't the case.
After two years, enough was enough. I applied to Suffolk. I thought maybe my third time would be a charm—and it was.
I am absolutely in love with Suffolk University. I found everything I've been looking for at this school in the heart of Boston. Suffolk has the best professors, advisors, and students. I’ve learned that we’re surrounded by hundreds of opportunities. It only takes enough courage to get your foot through the door. Suffolk has given me the courage to feel comfortable in my own shoes, expand my network, and open my eyes to a bigger picture.
If I weren't already a senior, my first choice when applying to colleges would've been Suffolk. I am proud to say that I will be a future alumna of this school. I will carry it with me forever.
