Favorites
  • Book: I love every book that James Patterson and Bell Hooks have written. They are by far my favorite authors.
  • Movie: The Long Kiss Goodnight with Gina Davis and Samuel L. Jackson. I am a big fan of action and suspense movies, especially when they have a strong female character.
  • TV Show: Right now is "Mr. Robot." But I can binge on the oldies for days like the "Golden Girls," "Charlie's Angels," "Bionic Woman," or "Wonder Woman." Wow! I think I am dating myself too much!
  • Place to Visit in Boston: I love nature and love to walk. My favorite places are the Blue Hills, the Arboretum, Boston Common, and the Public Garden.
Words of Wisdom

Do not be afraid to fail. I once saw a quote that read: F-A-I-L is First-Attempt-At-Learning. Papers and projects may not work out, presentations may not be perfect, and you may get a grade you are not proud of. However, your time here should be about growth and learning. The classroom is your platform to practice and improve your skills. Use your time in the classroom to your advantage.
