Involving Herself In The Action

Shannon's Suffolk Story

"Suffolk is about community. Suffolk has so many ways to get involved and encourages everyone to do so."

Shannon's Suffolk Story

It was the second semester of my senior year of high school and decision day was rapidly approaching. I was becoming increasingly more nervous as the days passed, and which school I should go to was still unclear. In March, I went to Suffolk's accepted students’ day and I was sold. The students and staff I spoke with really showed me that Suffolk is about community. Suffolk has so many ways to get involved and encourages everyone to do so.

Now I'm in my second semester at Suffolk and I couldn't be any happier. I have run cross-country, emceed Fall Fest, played my dream role of Hermione in dinner theatre, gone on an Alternative Spring Break trip, worked an internship, and so much more. The people I have met have become my family, and I know that Suffolk will always be my second home.
