Study Abroad comes with it's own academic challenges and cultural adjustments. It is our job to make sure that we are setting you up for success. Why isn't your GPA an indicator of your ability to succeed academically?

I will be a senior during the upcoming fall semester...

College of Arts & Sciences

Suffolk policy states that your last 30 credits must be taken at a Suffolk Campus. Why should we make an exception to this policy? In other words, why doesn't Madrid work for your plan?

I have discussed my plans with an academic advisor:
Yes
No

Important: When studying abroad in a non-Madrid location, students must earn a grade of C or better in any class they wish to transfer back to Suffolk University. No credit will be awarded for grades of C- or lower. Poor academic performance while studying abroad may create a credit shortfall and result in a delayed graduation.

Additionally, it can take several months before the study abroad transcript is received. Although the staff of the Center for International Programs & Services will do everything possible to ensure the timely delivery of a student's transcript, they cannot guarantee that it will arrive in time for the student to apply the credit to their program evaluation and qualify for graduation.

I understand that studying abroad as a senior may delay my graduation.
