Internships Abroad

Internships are currently offered for study abroad/exchange students on a case-by-case basis and, in most cases, rely on the faculties to determine availability/requirements, etc.

PUC-Rio is located in Gávea, a charming neighborhood near the forest and beaches of the Zona Sul area of Rio de Janeiro. Rio de Janeiro is an exciting city perfectly situated between a lush tropical forest and the Atlantic Ocean. Rio provides its residents and visitors alike with a majestic realm of colors, sounds and smells. With an intense cultural life, Rio de Janeiro is the perfect place for those who want to immerse themselves into the South American culture.

Students will work with faculty at PUC-Rio based on their area of interest. Along with faculty, students will serve as interns and participate in department projects. Please note, the internship must be approved by a PUC-Rio professor and is based on availability.

Kansai Gaidai University was founded nearly 120 years ago, and has become one of Japan’s most distinguished universities. The university is located in Osaka, the central hub of industry and commerce in Japan. Kansai University has been making great efforts to deepen international understanding and to promote academic. They welcome many students from all over the world to study and do research from such a global point of view. Students can study in the Asian Studies department at Kansai Gaidai.

The Kansai Gaidai Internship Program is a wonderful opportunity for students to extend their students and knowledge about Japan beyond the classroom and into the workplace. 

The internships involve actual tasks and assignments, and interns are fully integrated in the daily operations of the firms.  Internships are available in a variety of businesses, governments offices, and local schools.

Suffolk University Madrid Campus offers a comprehensive internship program for interested students in the summer as well as throughout each semester. We provide a broad spectrum of intellectually engaging internships in fields ranging from business to education. Internships offer students the unique opportunity to integrate into Madrid life and Spanish culture while developing their language and practical professional skills. Students are placed with well-known companies in many industry sectors including advertising, marketing & public relations, business, finance & consulting, heath & human services and art & architecture among others.

Student interns must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, be at least in their second year and must meet Tier 4 visa English language requirements. They should either want to intern in their major or minor field of study, or have completed relevant coursework or work/volunteer experience in their desired internship field.
