Career Goal

I would love to work for a professional sports organization, particularly in the NBA or WNBA, within a Business Intelligence department. Applying my data analysis skills to better understand fan behavior and consumer insights, while contributing to an organization committed to excellence on and off the court, would be an incredibly rewarding opportunity and a career I am passionate about pursuing.

Advice for Students Considering a Career in sports

From my experiences, I learned just how important it is to understand the sports industry in itself! Whether it's through partnerships, ticketing, operations, or data, professionals across every department have a strong understanding of how other areas function. During my time at Suffolk and throughout my work experience, I saw firsthand how valuable that cross-functional knowledge is, and having a strong contextual understanding of the industry is essential before stepping into a role.
