LinkedIn Learning

All Suffolk University faculty, staff & students now have access to LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) on-demand video learning platform. You now have access to more than 5,000 on demand videos on a variety of content to:

  • Introduce innovative tools and techniques for the classroom
  • learn new or update current technology skills
  • increase your productivity and enhance creativity
  • develop your “soft” skills

We welcome and encourage you to start using LinkedIn Learning. HR will help take the guess work out of learning by creating multi-course “learning paths” for different roles. In general, LinkedIn Learning courses will be optional for employees. Over time, we will design learning paths that are required for certain roles or before transfer or promotion to another position. For example, managers may be expected to complete courses on coaching employees, preparing a budget, or presentation skills. All staff may be expected to complete basic courses on the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. This will allow the University to establish a common standards for all members of the community.

Technology Training Center

ITS offers technology learning opportunities for Suffolk University faculty and staff to aid in performing key job tasks. Applications include Open Text/Red Dot, Microsoft Office, and Qualtrics Survey Software.
