Suffolk is committed to protecting the health and safety of our entire University community during these challenging times. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all alumni events have been cancelled or postponed until further notice.
As we monitor this evolving situation, important updates can be found on the Suffolk University Coronavirus Advisory webpage.
We are thankful to the Suffolk community for coming together during this difficult time to support our students. With increased sanctions and forced closures, our students are facing crisis situations. Many of our students who rely on part-time jobs in the hospitality and service industry have recently been unemployed, putting at risk their ability to retain housing and pursue their Suffolk education. Other students are requesting assistance to cover food, basic toiletries, utility bills and medical treatment.
Many alumni have asked how they can contribute. Suffolk alumni can help by supporting the Suffolk CARES program. A donation to Suffolk CARES will immediately help undergraduate, graduate and Law students in need of emergency assistance. Emergency funding grants help our students:
- Recover from job and income loss
- Make emergency rent payments
- Access food and sundry assistance
Help students today by visiting SUCARES or texting SUCARES to 71-777.
We hope the Suffolk alumni community stays safe and well.
