General Guidelines

Media Services provides equipment and services to support classes, meetings, and events on Suffolk's Boston campus. Our team is well-equipped to handle most needs without engaging additional resources. If, however, additional resources not available on campus are needed, we will assist in gathering competent and competitive proposals from local vendors to help your group obtain them.

All requests should be made with advance (typically two weeks) notice. If your event will require more complex support (significant equipment needs, staffing, or an unusual site), please reach out to the team as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we don't deploy equipment at off-campus events. We can certainly assist you, though, in contracting for these services with the event host or a local third-party provider.

Some portable equipment is available for use by members of the Suffolk community. Users who borrow media equipment for University classes or events are responsible for its security, as well as any damage it incurs while in their care. All borrowed equipment must returned to the Media Center at or before the agreed-upon time. This is critical as others may be depending on that equipment for their own events or classes. Failure to return equipment as agreed upon may result in the loss of borrowing privileges.
