For many years, a student’s first formal introduction to information systems was in an entry-level course taught by Prof. Frank. This provided the foundation for all majors so that there was a basic proficiency in the usage of information technology. His academic research over the years, expanded into the areas of how the internet could be leveraged to provide access to various underserved communities for healthcare, education, etc. He served as a website designer for many businesses in underserved areas. Prof. Frank may be best known for his unofficial role as emcee of the Faculty Potluck Supper, to bring everyone together. He served as a mentor and faculty advisor to countless students. His university service included membership on the Promotion, Tenure and Review Committee, the Graduate Program Committee and the NEASC committee.
