Biography
Professor McSweeney's primary research interests include understanding the practices entrepreneurs can utilize to acquire resources and how the resource acquisition process varies based on entrepreneurs' personal attributes and contextual characteristics. His secondary research interest revolves around understanding how contested practices gain acceptance, altering the proverbial "rules of the game" in terms of how business is practiced in different contexts. He employs a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to explore his research interests.
