Biography

Dr. Regina O’Neill’s research interests are in mentoring, diversity, career development, and negotiations. She has published in a variety of journals including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Hospital Medicine, PLOS ONE, Journal of Management Development, Journal of Management Inquiry, Human Resources Development Quarterly, Human Resource Management Journal, Psychology & Marketing, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Gender in Management: An International Journal, Career Development International, Journal of Management Education, and Case Research Journal.

Professor O’Neill has served on a number of committees and task forces at Suffolk including the President’s Diversity Task Force, the President’s Athletics Review Committee, the Promotion and Tenure Review Committee, NEASC and AACSB Committees, and the Faculty Governance Committee. Externally, she reviews for several journals and is an active community volunteer for adaptive sports including disabled rowers and cyclists.

Professor O’Neill received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan Business School, her MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, and her B.S. in Management from the University of Massachusetts. She is a licensed CPA and was an audit manager for a top international accounting firm prior to academia.
