Research Interests
I am interested in boundaries and the movement of chemicals across those boundaries. I have studied nitrogen movement from the atmosphere to the surface ocean. I have studied carbon transitions from salt marshes to the open ocean. I am broadly interested in climate change and water quality as well.
Teaching Philosophy
I run classrooms as a collaboration. I am learning from my students as much as they are learning from me!
