Prof. Torrisi taught graduate economics and international business. Many of his international business courses were inclusive of international travel He was the recipient of two Fulbright appointments, one at Kozminski University in 2006 and the other one at Comenius University in 2013. He first came to Suffolk as the Dean of Graduate Programs, Associate Dean of Sawyer Business School in 1993. He served in that capacity until 2006, at which time he returned to his faculty role. His publications combine his two interests in economics and international business discussing foreign direct investments in various countries or regions. His university service included the Faculty Senate, the Graduate Program Committee, and NEASC accreditation committee. His external service include service on Fulbright Review Board for Central Europe.
