Local Engagement

All students are required to complete a local engagement experience requirement as part of your undergraduate academic program. To assist you with meeting this requirement, the Center for Entrepreneurship offers programming through SBS-125 Local Engagement.

This course is administered by the Center for Entrepreneurship, where students volunteer for 20 or more hours in one semester for a Center-determined local engagement. This is a zero-credit co-requisite that requires several reflective writing assignments related to the volunteer experience. The Center maintains a list of service opportunities and documents hours.

For more information, contact the Center for Entrepreneurship at 617-305-1984 or by email. For more information regarding the local engagement requirement, as well as other options, see our BSBA degree requirements page.
