Get Involved in RAMP

Mentors and mentees are required to complete a Ram Alumni Mentoring Program (RAMP) application prior to being accepted into the program.

Suffolk alumni and students of all backgrounds are encouraged to get involved in RAMP. Mentors and mentees must complete a short application which asks questions related to your:

  • Career interests and background
  • Preference in a Career Community—this information will be used in our mentor-mentee matching process
  • Goals as a mentor or mentee entering the program

Applications for the 2023 – 2024 academic year must be received by November 1, 2023.

After you Apply

Mentors and mentees are required to read the Mentor Guide [PDF] or Mentee Guide [PDF]. Participants are also asked to completed a virtual RAMP Orientation Session. You will receive an email from one of our Career Community advisors confirming your mentor-mentee pairing by December 1, 2023.

RAMP mentorships are designed to last until the end of the spring semester, May 1st. This does not mean that the partnership must end, but it is a good opportunity to have a final meeting to discuss what you each gained from the partnership and what goals were met.

Mentors and mentees will also be asked to share their feedback twice: in the middle of and close to the conclusion of the program. This information helps us further develop and expand the program for future RAMP cohorts.
