Pre-Health Advising

Drawing from our strong ties to Boston's world-renowned medical community, we introduce students to a broad spectrum of specialists through class visits and practical skills workshops. Our students gain valuable insight into clinical practice by working with patients and their families in Boston’s hospitals and other clinics.

Suffolk’s student-run Pre-Health Club, peer mentorship opportunities, and a centralized Canvas hub create a supportive environment for students in our Pre-Health Pathways. It's easy to connect with others, access resources, and keep up with the latest updates and opportunities.

“My sister was born with a genetic condition that causes low muscle tone. I saw firsthand the difference physical therapy made in her life, and I realized that this is exactly what I want to do: help people regain their independence, support families through tough times, and make a positive impact.
Both Suffolk and MGH IHP have enabled me to grow so much, not just in knowledge, but in confidence. Suffolk gave me a strong science foundation and helped me develop into a career-ready professional. At MGH IHP, I’ve learned to trust my abilities and apply everything to real patients.”
