Criminal Justice Minor

When you choose to minor in criminal justice, you’ll be exposed to courses that will help you foster an understanding of the criminal justice system.

In your coursework, you’ll examine how illegal behavior is defined, with special attention to how social inequalities of race, class, gender, sexuality, and age shape what is seen as crime and what is seen as justice. This minor places great emphasis on the intersections of criminal justice and social justice.
