Program Description and Requirements

All courses in the Suffolk Law Online Intellectual Property Law Basics Certificate program (the “program”) are held completely online and asynchronously. Grading is on a complete/incomplete basis, determined automatically by answering several knowledge check questions throughout each course in the program. Students may answer each knowledge check question more than once to arrive at the correct answer. Students must complete all assigned coursework and assessments in the time and manner prescribed for each course in order to pass the course. The completion status assigned automatically by the program is final.

A student must successfully complete four courses in the IP Certificate program to receive the certificate. Students who have completed all four courses in the Intellectual Property Law Basics Certificate should contact Jenn Karnakis, Director of Intellectual Property Programs, to request their certificate.

Each student must complete all assignments on their own and without any assistance. Any questions regarding the course materials should be directed here.
