Most rooms are doubles and enjoy plenty of natural light. They come with an en-suite bathroom, bed, desk and study area, ample wardrobe and storage space, air conditioning and heating, and a kitchen with fridge, freezer, and microwave.
The student residence also provides cleaning service, bed linens and towels, a full-board meal plan, high-speed broadband, and WiFi throughout the building. There are several study rooms, a gym, a game room, and common room, an onsite laundry, a restaurant providing three meals a day, and a terrace.
Overnight guests are not allowed in SUMC accommodations. Suffolk students, however, can visit between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.
More about meals
Your housing fee covers a full-board meal plan consisting of breakfast (el desayuno) served between 7-10 a.m. (9-11 a.m. on weekends), lunch (la comida) served between 1-4 p.m. (2-4 p.m. on weekends), is usually the main meal of the day in Spain, and dinner (la cena) served between 8-10 p.m. (9-10.30 p.m. on weekends) is usually a lighter affair. These meals are served seven days a week.
Please note: Even though the residence will remain open during Holy Week, no meals will be served. Dates for spring break often coincide with Holy Week, but not always. See our spring academic calendar for specific dates.
