If I Need Care

Suffolk Counseling, Health & Wellness is available for all registered students, no matter what health insurance you have. There is no co-pay for a clinician evaluation. If you have any questions, we are here to help you. You can call or visit us during our operating hours.

If I get sick, what should I know about receiving health care?

Students should always carry their health insurance card. Most hospitals, doctors, laboratories and pharmacies work directly with insurance companies for payment. Without your insurance card, you may be required to pay the cost yourself and then apply to be reimbursed by the insurance company. Students should read and become familiar with their health insurance policy terminology and benefits.
