Use and Distribution of Gift Cards

There are a few allowable uses of gift cards.

Some examples of acceptable uses are:

• Given in the course of research involving human subjects
• Prizes to students for contests or competitions

Some examples that are not acceptable uses are:

• Given to employees
• Given to student employees as tokens of appreciation
• For any services in lieu of pay
