The Global Gateway Program

Suffolk University is all about global education. Our Global Gateway Program brings the world to you in Boston, and you out into the world. You can join a select group of freshmen who travel to Suffolk's campus in Madrid, Spain, for a week in the spring semester of your very first year here.

The Suffolk University Madrid Campus provides an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the Spanish history and culture. Our Global Gateway Program offers incoming freshmen to experience the Madrid Campus firsthand through a one-week travel program during spring break. You and other first-year students will become part of a globally focused cohort of students who will have the opportunity to experience Spain at a fraction of the cost.

Program Details

Any incoming first year students are welcome to apply for the Global Gateway Program. The program is open to students of all majors within both the College of Arts & Sciences and the Sawyer Business School.

Application Process

This application can be started as early as the summer of 2019 and are due by October 25, 2019. Following the submission of their application, eligible students will be invited to an in-person interview. Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program by the end of November 2019.
