Executive MBA Program

High-Touch Experiential Learning

Suffolk’s Executive MBA (EMBA) program offers a high-touch experiential curriculum, based on strong collaboration between students, faculty, and industry clients.

Classes are interactive, with faculty and students sharing their experience and expertise, challenging assumptions, and generating ideas. Faculty are experts in their fields and seasoned professionals who bridge concepts and practice. In addition to business simulations, the curriculum will challenge you to take on the role of a consultant, helping to develop innovative solutions for complex real-world problems and working with clients from Boston’s high-tech, finance, start-up, and biotech companies. Throughout the experience, you’ll develop new perspectives and apply business models and concepts to your client’s enterprise.

Leadership Focus

Today’s volatile, complex, and ambiguous world requires advanced leadership skills and an unconventional approach to business that extends far beyond core functional competencies. Suffolk’s Executive MBA offers just that. You’ll develop critical leadership skills required to lead in a high-tech, data-driven business landscape, and sharpen abilities like critical thinking, navigating uncertainty, using data to make decisions and people skills required to lead with impact.

Global Reach

While Suffolk has strong local roots in the Boston business community, the Suffolk EMBA has global reach. The EMBA program integrates global and multicultural viewpoints from international business leaders, giving candidates a broad perspective throughout the program. During a weeklong seminar in Madrid, you’ll enhance your cultural competence and understanding of global business by working with local companies.

Individualized Capstone Project

Showcase your skills and competence with the EMBA capstone, getting internal and external exposure to propel your business or career. The capstone project is a customized project encompassing the design and development of a business opportunity or initiative of your choice. You’ll work on your capstone project throughout the program, applying different course concepts as you go. You’ll work with an industry mentor, faculty members, and your peers in completing this multi-faceted assignment with impact.
