A major in global business, combined with a functional area of business, opens the door to a wide range of opportunities. Our Strategy and International Business Department provides the tools to help you analyze a company’s position on the international stage.

Practical Learning

Choose to combine your major with any functional area of business: accounting, big data and analytics, business economics, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems, management, marketing, or financial wealth management.

At the Sawyer Business School, your education is about more than just books and lectures. You’ll explore new countries by studying abroad, enrolling in a global travel seminar, or completing an international internship.

BSBA students can also earn a minor in International Business.

Undergraduate

Global Business Major

Students can combine a major in Global Business with one functional area, such as accounting, business economics, big data and business analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, information systems, or wealth management.

Innovation Strategy Minor

As the intersection between business and technology becomes ever more vital and complex, organizations need clear strategies for developing and leveraging high-tech solutions.

International Business Minor

A minor in international business will teach you how to think about business strategies from a global perspective. You’ll explore global business concepts, such as foreign direct investment, outsourcing, and international ethics, and learn how to apply them to the workplace.
