The Center for Restorative Justice takes on field education placements, interns, or work-study students to assist with planning events, outreach, research, program development and implementation on projects related to restorative justice within Massachusetts. This position includes supporting and assisting the Director and Center Fellows in an array of tasks including field work in public schools.
Applicants should have a strong interest in restorative justice and will be in an excellent position to learn about the work currently underway in the Boston and New England area.
Ability to work independently, creatively and collaboratively is required. Skill/ experience in web design, databases and Internet research is a plus. Interest and experience in working with youth is necessary. The positions are unpaid, but academic credit may be available through the intern’s home institution. Preference is given to students attending universities in the Boston area.
