Fall Start Orientation

Welcome to Suffolk University! Whether this is the beginning of your college experience, or you are starting at Suffolk with college credit under your belt, we are thrilled to partner with you throughout your transition to our community!

Participation in orientation is required for all incoming degree-seeking undergraduate students. Programs are designed to welcome new first-year and transfer students as well as family members to the Suffolk community. At orientation, you and your family members will discover University resources that will make your college experience successful right from the start.

At Summer orientation, you will:

  • Meet with academic advisors to finalize your fall course schedule
  • Learn more about involvement opportunities on campus
  • Meet in small groups with current students, leaders, and your new classmates
  • Become familiar with Suffolk University resources and hear from departments such as:
    • Academic colleges (Sawyer Business School or College of Arts & Sciences)
    • Financial Aid
    • Residence Life and Housing
    • Center for Learning & Academic Success

At Fall orientation, you will:

  • Engage with classmates through group development and social activities
  • Participate in experiential learning opportunities tied to Suffolk University commitment to service
  • Become familiar with the Suffolk University campus and community
  • Develop a tool kit to be successful in your first year at Suffolk University
