Mid-March
Orientation registration opens—and it’s required for all new students. You must attend summer orientation, as well as the additional session we’ll hold in September before the fall semester starts.
May 1*
This—or the date listed on your acceptance letter—is the deadline to submit your enrollment deposit.
*Due to federal delays in processing financial aid, we are still accepting deposits for the Fall 2024 semester! All incoming freshmen for the fall semester are guaranteed University-sponsored housing for 2 years, and transfer students will be guaranteed a space for the 2024-2025 academic year.

If you’re an accepted international student and have been issued form I-20 or form DS-2019, you may apply for a visa at your nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
May 7
Look out for an email from us with your official Suffolk University email login credentials. Create a password to activate your account!
You'll get an email from us with instructions on taking the online math placement exam and writing placement survey, and pre-registering for courses.
Mid-May
You’ll receive your Suffolk email and instructions on completing placement tests and course registration.
Late May
If you’ve made your deposit, we’ll email you instructions for our University housing portal.**

June 1

This is the deadline to register for new student and family orientation.

You can send in your photo as of this day. If you need a bit more time, please note that you can take care of this at orientation or later this summer.
You can begin submitting your required health and immunization records to the student health portal.
In July
If you’re a resident student, you’ll receive an email announcing your University-sponsored housing assignment.
August 1
This is the deadline to pay your fall semester tuition.
August 30
If you’re a new international student living in University-sponsored housing, this is your move-in day.
September 1
This is move-in day for all new students who attended orientation in June.
This is the deadline to submit your required health and immunization records to the student health portal. You can start sending your health information on June 6.
September 2
Today is Fall Orientation for all new students!
