Fall Start Orientation

Welcome to Suffolk University! Whether this is the beginning of your college experience, or you are starting at Suffolk with college credit under your belt, we are thrilled to partner with you throughout your transition to our community!

Orientation participation is required for all incoming degree-seeking undergraduate students. Programs are designed to welcome new first-year and transfer students as well as family members to the Suffolk community. At orientation, you and your family members will discover the University resources that will make your college experience successful right from the start.

At virtual orientation, you will:

  • Meet with faculty advisors from your academic department
  • Finalize your fall class schedule
  • Learn about involvement opportunities
  • Meet in small groups with current students, leaders, and your classmates
  • Become familiar with the Suffolk University resources and hear from departments such as:
    • Residential Life
    • Off-Campus Housing
    • Suffolk University Public Safety
    • Financial Aid

At part two of orientation, you will:

  • Engage with classmates through group development and social activities
  • Participate in experiential learning opportunities tied to Suffolk University commitment to service
  • Become familiar with the Suffolk University campus and community
  • Develop a tool kit to be successful in your first year at Suffolk University
