Favorite Boston spot: The Long Wharf gives a great view of the ocean, has a pretty lawn for picnics or hanging out, and normally is filled with live music and families!
What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?: I’m a Glee addict, I’ve watched the entire show multiple times, please talk to me about the Troubletones
What are you passionate about?: I love dance, music, art, and the environment. I’m passionate about social justice and Dancing with the Stars!
What’s one thing people should know about Suffolk?: The environment at Suffolk is very encouraging and motivating. My peers and professors have pushed me to achieve more than I thought I could and to always attempt new experiences
How has Suffolk surprised you?: I have been able to form meaningful relationships with my professors, which I assumed wouldn’t happen at college without putting in extra effort. Since class sizes are relatively small, as long as you participate and work hard you can stand out
Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: I watched the sunrise along the Esplanade with a friend, it’s a beautiful view

What are you passionate about?: I love reading and writing! In my bag at all times is at least one book (if not two), my journal, and my favorite pen
What’s one thing people should know about Suffolk?: Not only is the Suffolk community welcoming, but it is also incredibly supportive. Suffolk will give you all the tools to achieve your goals and hold your hand every step of the way
How has Suffolk surprised you?: The community! Having the city as our campus makes us unique, it doesn’t detract from the feeling of “home” you’d find on a more “traditional” campus. The Boston Common, local restaurants and stores, and busy city streets it all feel like Suffolk’s because the students have made it their own
Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: The highlight of my Suffolk experience was meeting my future roommate and best friend my first day of orientation freshmen year. Suffolk has shown me I made the right choice over and over again academically, but I really cannot thank the school enough for also introducing me to so many great people as well

What is your passion? Design, fashion, eating, and prioritizing myself!
What’s one thing people should know about Suffolk? When you need help, all you have to do is reach out. Always be willing to vocalize when there’s a problem or you need extra guidance and Suffolk always has your back with resources
How has Suffolk surprised you? There are so many events held here, seriously, every single day I bet there is some club organization or activity. If you involve yourself, you will never be bored and never be hungry (there’s always free food and treats)
Highlight of your Suffolk experience (so far): Honestly, the best times I’ve had at Suffolk so far are staying after hours in the studio with my friends while we do our projects, play music, and talk. Those are the most wholesome college moments I love!

What’s one thing people should know about Boston?: There is so much green space, especially in the area around Suffolk! Spending time in the Boston common or garden really helped during my transition into the city.

What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?: Rewatching the same 5 TV shows over and over again.
What are you passionate about?: Community service and helping other people. I’m a huge advocate for donating blood!
What’s one thing people should know about Suffolk?: The smaller class sizes create a really personal learning environment. Getting to know the professors and the other students within my major through class discussions and projects has been super beneficial!
How has Suffolk surprised you?: How accessible it is getting around! The Suffolk campus is not only within walking distance from so many amazing places in downtown Boston but also a multitude of train stations! Being able to easily take the commuter rail closer to my hometown on weekends or the Amtrak to visit family in D.C. has been so amazing!
Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: Having a microwaved Thanksgiving dinner with my three roommates on the $20 rug we had just bought.

What’s one thing people should know about Suffolk?: There are so many picturesque study spots on campus! There are even more resources available to you, so you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help. The staff here really wants to get to know you, and you can form genuine connections with your professors. I came from a very different school, and Suffolk feels much more personalized
How has Suffolk surprised you?: There are so many clubs here for such a small school. There’s definitely something for everyone!
Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: Honestly, it would have to be working with the Career Center and professors to help me navigate my options after I earn my bachelor’s degree. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and I felt so much better afterward!

Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: The highlight of my Suffolk experience so far was the Welcomefest! It really gave me an introduction to what Suffolk is, and I met some of my best friends there. Plus, it was a lot of fun and I got a stuffed ram and a tote bag!

Favorite Boston spot: The Cambridge area is definitely my go-to. I love spending time there grabbing dessert, browsing bookstores, and checking out local food spots. It’s the perfect mix of relaxing and exploring
What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?: As a Marketing major, I’m supposed to be all about strategy, but honestly, I can’t stop myself from diving into art and design. It’s my guilty pleasure that somehow always finds its way into my work!
What are you passionate about?: Designing and drawing are everything to me. They’re my hobbies, but they’ve also shaped the way I think. When I’m brainstorming, I naturally think outside the box and approach problems from a creative angle

How has Suffolk surprised you?: Honestly, the diversity here blew me away. Coming in, I didn’t expect to meet so many people from so many different backgrounds. It makes every day on campus feel like a new experience

How has Suffolk surprised you?: All of the student resources and facilities are so high quality
Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: I transferred to Suffolk in the middle of the year during the spring semester and the transfer process was so easy. Also, experiencing the art department has been a highlight too

One minute you can be watching the seals at the New England Aquarium, and the next, you’re enjoying a peaceful evening at the Boston Common

What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?: Watching an unhealthy amount of movies
What are you passionate about?: Football and exploring new cultures while traveling are huge passions of mine because they’re all about connection. I love finding that sense of community and shared energy no matter where I am in the world
What’s one thing people should know about Suffolk?: People should know that our campus is not a traditional, gated campus because the city itself is our classroom. Being in the heart of Boston’s professional hub means you’re constantly learning alongside a massive alumni network that is always ready to give back
How has Suffolk surprised you?: What surprised me most is the constant support system at Suffolk. The professors are always willing to help, and there are so many opportunities, like the Career Center’s mock interviews and résumé reviews, that make the transition into the professional world feel much less intimidating
Highlight of your Suffolk experience so far: The highlight of my experience has been balancing meeting so many new people while pushing myself academically; from joining the Islamic Society E-Board and the Honors Program to making the Dean’s List and reaching the Boston Globe Case Competition finals in my first semester
