Suffolk Meal Plans

Suffolk meal plans are available for resident and commuter students and provide flexibility based on your dining preferences and schedule.

Note: Residential Plan A is the default plan for all students (except for 10 West apartment residents, who don’t have to choose a plan). You can change your meal plan until the end of a semester’s add/drop period.

Residential Plan A

Quantity of All-You-Care-to-Enjoy-Meals/”Swipes” per Week: Unlimited
(Count resets each week at 2 a.m. Sunday)

Meal Exchanges per Week: 12
(Count resets each week at 2 a.m. Sunday)
Students will be able to use some of their meal "swipes" at select retail locations, including 150 Tremont Café, Café 73, Sal's @ 1 Court Street, and Sargent Café, for a complete bundled meal. This replaces the previous purely à la carte model. For example, a student on Meal Plan A may elect to visit a retail location and purchase a bundled meal up to 12 times per week as part of their plan. A student on Meal Plan B may use 7 of their 14 meal "swipes" at a retail location to purchase a bundled meal. A student on Meal Plan C may use 5 of their 10 meal "swipes" at a retail location to purchase a bundled meal.

Dining Dollars per Semester: $100
Dining Dollars work like a debit card at all campus dining locations. All declining balance dollars including fall, if carried over, and spring expire on the last meal plan day of each spring semester.

Guest Passes per Semester: 5
(Expire on the last meal plan day of each semester)
Guest meals can be used to treat a friend or family member to a meal at Samia Café, our All-You-Care-to-Enjoy destination.

Cost per Semester: $2,950


Residential Plan B

Purchase Guidelines: Residential Plan A is the default plan for all students as noted (except 10 West apartment residents who are not required to elect a plan). Changes to meal plan selection may be requested until the end of the add/drop period. Note: Students who change meal plans or withdraw from campus housing prior to the end of the Add/Drop Period will incur a pro-rated liability.

Note: You can buy the block plan of your choice any time during the academic year.

Commuter Block 20

If a student purchases a block plan in the fall, meals purchased in fall carry over until the last day of the spring semester. All meals, including fall, if carried over, and spring expire on the last day of each spring semester.

Purchase Guidelines: Commuter Block Plans may be purchased at any time during the academic year. Block plans, once purchased, are not refundable, unless a student is involuntarily separated from the University.
