CHW Health offers travel appointments. If you are planning foreign travel, you may request consultation, immunizations and/or medications for the planned travel from our office.
Planning Foreign Travel
We can provide consultation and guidance at no charge. Some immunizations, however, that may be required for travel (such as Yellow Fever), are not available at CHW. If needed, we will refer you to a local travel clinic for this.
Call 617-573-8226 to make an appointment with one of our clinicians at least six weeks before you travel and follow these instructions
- Research the country(s) you will be visiting by going to the CDC website. Print and review all relevant materials and bring them to your appointment.
- If needed, you may also be referred to the Travel Medicine Clinic at Tufts Medical Center. Their website has contact information and downloadable forms.
- Please review your health insurance benefits for coverage of these services and vaccines.
