Conferences & Events

If you need a space on campus for an event, need assistance with an event you are planning, or have questions about an event you'd like to host, you've come to the right place!

How Can We Help You?

In addition to reserving on-campus space, the Conferences and Events department can assist you with other event-related tasks, such as:

  • Creating a room block at a nearby hotel
  • Organizing an off-campus activity or event
  • Discussing ways to accept guest registration and payment

Call or e-mail us to learn more!

Guidelines for Requesting Space

Space requests are accepted and processed for the current semester plus one more. Requests are processed in the order they are received, with a two business day turnaround.

If you are planning a large event more than one semester out, please contact the Conferences & Events office at 617-573-8096 to discuss. Some spaces can be reserved farther in advance for large campus activities (such as Orientation) or high-profile events.

To request a room on campus for your meeting or event, please fill out this form at least two working days prior to your event or meeting.

This form can be used to request classrooms, meeting rooms and/or function space in: Sargent Hall (120 Tremont Street), Stahl Center (73 Tremont Street), 20 Somerset and Sawyer!

For same day room requests ONLY please call 617-573-8096. Advance room requests are not accepted via e-mail or phone.

Requests are processed in the order they are received with a two business day turnaround.

Please note: The academic calendar has priority over all aspects of scheduling. The Registrar's Office continues to handle all academic space needs, such as a course classroom change, exam space, or review session. Please contact the Registrar's Office directly for these needs; do not fill out the form.
