Health Insurance
Health insurance coverage is offered through University Health Plans. Based on your registration, the University will automatically enroll you into the insurance plan and the charge will appear on your student statement.
You can learn more about on-campus healthcare and SSHIP for Suffolk students at Counseling, Health & Wellness. International Exchange Students and INTO Students should contact their respective programs to learn about specific health insurance requirements.

Waiver
If you have comparable US based health insurance coverage, you may be eligible to waive the health insurance fee charged by Suffolk University by submitting a waiver form to Health Services.
The deadline to complete the waivers are
- Fall waiver deadline: September 20
- Spring waiver deadline: February 1
If you have submitted your waiver form and the insurance charge is still reflected on your bill, please contact University Health Plans (833-251-1133 or via their website) immediately to verify that your waiver form was received.
