Description & Details
Law Tuition
Students registered in the full-time range are charged a flat tuition rate. Students registered less than the full-time range are charged the per credit rate for the total number of registered credits. Accelerated students are full time and charged the flat tuition rate. Please note students registered for Summer will be charged the current academic year’s (Fall, Spring, Summer) tuition rate except for the Law Accelerated students whose new academic year (Summer, Fall, Spring) starts in the summer.
SBA Dues
This fee covers each student’s semester contribution to the Student Bar Association (SBA), which operates as the student government at Suffolk University Law School. The dues support SBA activities and all student organizations (with the exception of the academic honor boards) at the law school. All enrolled law students are automatically members of the SBA.
Bar Preparation Fee
The Bar Preparation Fee covers each student’s semester contribution to the cost of an all-inclusive bar preparation package. This package includes enrollment in a professional bar review course offered by Barbri or another provider selected by the student, a preparation course for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE), diagnostic exams, curricular programming, review books, study aids and assessment resources. The total amount of bar preparation fees paid through graduation will be less than the amount that a student would otherwise have to pay for individual retail purchase of the Barbri bar review course alone.
SJD Administrative Fee
Students in the Doctor of Juridical Science program are charged the per credit rate. After the first-year students will be charged an Administrative fee in addition to the per credit rate.
Note
Some or all instruction for all or part of Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and mandatory fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year.
