Internships at Suffolk

Our downtown location means Suffolk accounting students have access to for-credit winter internships at the Big Four firms and beyond. And many students, like Abbey Toland, BS ’25, end up hired by the firms where they intern.

In 2025, Suffolk film students, alumni, and faculty worked with New England Patriots captain Marcus Jones to create a riveting behind-the-scenes documentary about his journey to the Super Bowl.

For Corrin Tangarone, BS ’24, MPA ’25, a service-learning course in social change and an internship at Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island have led to a future as a wish coordinator for the nonprofit.

Through a partnership with LabCentral, Suffolk undergraduate students can participate in the Biotech Ready Program, earning microcredentials and networking with industry professionals.

For Maren Halpin, BA ’26, her work at The Suffolk Journal was a training ground for innovation, leading to co-op and part-time reporting roles at The Boston Globe and, ultimately, a job at the Boston Business Journal.

Because some of the biggest lessons can happen outside the classroom, every year Suffolk sends hundreds of students on immersive learning trips around the country and across the world.

Suffolk Law’s clinics provide students the opportunity to aid clients with real-world problems, from youth facing juvenile delinquency hearings to immigrants navigating a complicated legal system.

Suffolk Votes is a nonpartisan, University-wide effort to engage students in civic life , registering new voters and participating in the democratic process.
